Visiting Yogyakarta, PI-Energi’s Managing Director Explores the Potential of Renewable Energy

In the context of developing new and renewable energy, Pupuk Indonesia Energi (PI-Energi) continues to conduct comparative studies for planning the implementation of new and renewable energy power plant installations. PI-Energi President Director Tentaminarto visited Pantai Baru, Bantul, Yogyakarta, and Baron Technopark, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, on Monday, February 24, 2020.

On that occasion, Tenta was accompanied by Rama Usvika (General Manager of Investment), Hisar Desmon Yosua (Manager of Gresik IPP Factory), Zakky Syafaristanto (Electrical Engineer) and Candrika Ajeng (Investment and Development Staff).

"PI-Energi must be a company that is leading in the field of conventional, non-conventional, even new and renewable energy. We continue to strive to maximize good and wise management of new and renewable energy sources, "said Tenta.

The visit is a form of commitment from PI-Energi to improve the quality of the company's technology. By achieving good technology quality, PI-Energi believes it can bring significant changes to the company's future.

Pantai Baru, Bantul, which was visited by the team, is famous for its beautiful and shady beaches thanks to the rows of pine trees. This beach is popular as a destination for environmental tourism and educational tourism.
In this area there are also dozens of windmill towers 10-18 meters high, with a total of 34 windmills. Many students come to learn how this windmill works, from kindergarten students to university students.

The Baron Technopark is a research and development center for renewable energy technology, as well as a means of disseminating Renewable Energy Science and Technology. The power plant developed at Baron Technopark is a PLTH (Hybrid Power Plant) system that can generate electricity from solar energy, wind and diesel engines.
